When I Was 24 (A Throwback and It's Not a Thursday)

10 years ago. My 20s were the craziest and the most exciting years of my life. The years when I'd throw all caution to the wind and dive in to the challenge. ...when I was reckless and made lots of stupid and crazy mistakes... ...when I found my one true love. Through thick and thin (literally) There was a certain kind of exhilaration in my 20s. That kind of rush that I somewhat miss.  I miss the adventure, the drama, the excitement...  Yet I am happy with the respite... Ah, I have grown up. It is time to make new adventures.

Career Shift in My Mid-Thirties

I've been a media practitioner most of my life. I was in 3rd year high-school when I decided I wanted to work in the field of broadcast communications and took up a related course in college. However, at a certain point in my life especially when my family started to move a lot for so many reasons, naisip ko parang hindi na sya - how should I say it - as lucrative as it used to be. So many new breed of media professionals are emerging. Younger, more dynamic, more creative. It is kind of sad (oo aaminin ko na rin, ego-crushing) to admit that I'm a "has been" in this field.
